Manziel is love him or hate him, I’m neither, JM is as thankfully out of the SEC as Dubya out of the WH, so my dislike is over and done. Also hope 2-14 Houston and the others appreciate what they’ve got such that the bullying of rookies like we saw at Miami won’t discourage any of these great guys. That includes Manziel, although he could walk away, go back to college online and law school if he got his feelings hurt too bad and decided he would rather be mad. Can you do law school online?

Meanwhile Jameis who should have gone for the draft drops from rape to shoplifting at Publix in Tallahassee. Not sure whether that’s up or down for The Man but don’t appreciate what it does to Heisman wisdom, prestige, honor. Publix could as easily have phoned him instead of calling the sheriff. Will FSU and Willie Meggs launch an investigation of the Publix manager?
