Tuesday Again
Silent, clear, beautiful, a jewel. Silence. Total silence. Such absolute silence. We are having our winter this week. 39F at the predawn moment. St. Andrews Bay: diamonds, rubies and my beloved emeralds on black onyx. Eat your heart out, Tiffany & Co.
Winter happens at night here, mainly at night: forecast for tomorrow night, around 25F, pipes’ll drip all over town. It only takes a drip -- drip -- drip -- not a stream -- drip -- drip -- just drip -- drip -- drip each faucet. One upstairs bathroom: its cold pipe is up the outside wall on the west side. It supplied the bathroom and kitchen the apartment years. Last year the pipe froze but I ran the hose on it a few seconds until it thawed.
Yesterday morning, walk with Robert, Cove School, Linda Avenue, Cherry Street, Beach Drive along the Bay. The tide was low, farther out than we’d ever seen it. Why? IDK, maybe the answer is a question: where was the moon? Today morning: cardio program with the TaskMaster at BayMed, 8 to 9.
Bible Seminar: not today. Lent Term of the Tuesday morning Bible Seminar will begin February 3. Adult Sunday School goes straight through, end of summer to beginning of the next summer. But I keep Fall and Lent Terms separate, like college semesters so folks can comfortably come and go as they choose. BS-101 and BS-102.
