Birthday!

At the moment an osprey, one of our locals, is perched atop the porch roof above us, eyeing the Bay for a breakfast opportunity

while the Colorado osprey nest is active 

with the three youngsters flexing muscles and wings. Eggs in April and hatched in May, my how fast these guys have grown.
https://www.bouldercounty.org/open-space/management/osprey-camera/  A new camera, looking up at the nest instead of down into it, was installed to replace the one that was damaged by storm. Maybe after everyone flies off for the season the top camera will be replaced, otherwise we won't be able to watch the eggs, hatching and feeding next year.

Tuesday, July 10: Linda's birthday, celebrated last evening with supper at Los Antojitos (never drink more than one margarita), then back to 7H for delicious coconut cake!
