Abusing Freedom

Consequence

At an airport years ago I stood in a crowd waiting for luggage to arrive. In the midst of the crowd was a man smoking a cigar. As he blew clouds of bilious smoke, the fellow in front of him coughed, turned and said, “Would you put that out?” The smoker glared, retorted, “It’s a free country” and continued polluting.

In today’s cyber world bilious smoke spreads around the globe in a split second. Terry Jones and aka Sam Baciles personify the cyber-smokers. The consequences of their abuse of freedom is terrible damage and deaths of innocent people.

There is no moral right to say or do things that cause other people to suffer or be hurt or killed, nor should there be legal or constitutional right to do so. Cigar smokers have lost their freedom. It’s time the cyber-smokers lost theirs.

T

aka Sam Baciles because that maker of the anti-Islam film is unknown at this point, hiding behind aliases, afraid to show himself while others die in his place.
