Hush of angel wings

Read too early while contemplating whether to go outside and enjoy the 73F 85% of the wee hour. http://www.ibtimes.com/carnivorous-dinosaurs-shrank-millions-years-evolve-present-day-birds-1645692 many will love this if not disciples of (Anglican) Archbishop James Ussher, who calculated the date of the Creation to have been nightfall preceding 23 October 4004 BC. Apparently, calculating the date of Creation was a popular and credible scholarly exercise in Ussher’s time. In any event, a wandering mind wonders whether angels‘ wings have feathers, and if birds evolved from dinosaurs, from what did angels evolve. Hush and enough.   

Do we have guardian angels, and do they have wings, and, an angel being a messenger, do they take part in answering answered prayer, delivering the power of God? And does the angel Gabriel still appear, like, say, in a hospital room? Stirred by the prayers of the faithful who believe that every daughter and granddaughter is as holy and beloved to God as the daughter of Anne. Just saying.

Do I believe in angels? Never certain of anything, my prayer at time of death, Depart, O Christian soul, out of this world, in the Name of God the Father who created you, in the Name of God the Son who redeemed you, in the Name of God the Holy Spirit who sanctifies you. May your resting place be this day in the paradise of God, and may your company be His saints and holy angels. May the Lord + bless ...
