The conspiracy theorist in me says they're doing it to us again, pollsters predicting a runaway flood of Blue on Election Day, predicting with two intentions: that Blue will relax and not bother going out to vote, and Red will panic and get out to vote in record numbers.
It's all good, folks, by the Time the End of Days comes everyone will have forgotten 2026, maybe even by ten years from now. No generation is as vital as they think, certainly not mine, this too shall pass and the sooner the better, eh?

Not posting pictures of my right foot, but this morning for the first Time in more years than I remember, my right foot is normal size, same as my left foot: normal ankle, normal foot; five individual toes instead of a solid pen of inseparable fat piggies went to market. It's the meds and all credit to my doctor. My home med prescriptions include one antibiotic pill three Times a day, one double-dose lasix (furosemide) pill once a day, one monster pill of potassium sodium to counteract furosemide's drain off of vital minerals, and protect my kidneys.
Breakfast: two of the shrimp that are being prepped for the shrimp marinara sauce with spaghetti we're planning for noon dinner while Tass is here today. The two shrimp, and two triscuit crackers, each covered with a slab of Port Salut cheese. Water, I had my coffee earlier. And only a few sips of water, doctor's orders against overloading the kidneys that are working faithfully and successfully to pull the liquid from my legs.
See, this is me, you worry about your own Southern sense of what's proper or too delicate a topic to mention; I've been there, grew up there, I've long outgrown it. Once I read (was it true? IDK, not my problem) that someone said the word "loo" in the queen's hearing and she got the vapes and had to fan herself to keep from fainting with shock. Than was then, this is now, if you don't want to hear about bodily functions, turn your telly back to 1955, nomesane?

Every Day Is A Beautiful Day (a philosophy of life that is engraved in the grave marker of an especially dear friend), and this Saturday morning does not disappoint, clear sky, 76°F sunny, 82% humidity, moonrise 2:29 PM. Expect to see small boats out on the Bay enjoying this continuation of our delightful Florida summer.

The image above is recent from NASA's JWST, a cloudy, gaseous region where stars and galaxies form. It is integrated with my theology, as you realize if you know me.
Got to stop, contemplate the Bay, dress for the day, then go in the kitchen and remove the tails of the shrimp that I mentioned above.
