TG it's Tuesday
Almost certainly, it's Tuesday out there somewhere, may even show up here in 7H, where I sit midst the deafening hissing shriek of the contractor's dehumidifiers, air warmers and dryers working to remove water that came in under our vinyl tile flooring during Hurricane Isaias last Friday evening. They checked yesterday and there's still substantial water in an apparent low spot under the dining room floor.
But if this quick preventive action is successful, maybe it'll be the end of it, no mold and no ripping out flooring =that was installed after Hurricane Michael. TGIT, thank God it's Tuesday we didn't replace the cracked and buckling wood flooring with more wood flooring: in fact, we selected this vinyl tile flooring specifically for its water resistant promise, and it seems good so far. The insurance adjuster is due here about one o'clock this coming Friday, it would be nice if we can cancel the damage claim, or hold it in abeyance pending the outcome.
In the meanTime, the mind-searing noise in here is the stuff of insanity: fight to hold on to calm tranquility. Take my hearing aids out - - aaahhhhh, peace at last, TGIT for deafness, nomesane?
No, you don't know, but in Time you'll know, God willing and wishing you long years.
Life is a gift, and so far it's worth all the nonsense that Time lets in as we mosey along. Life is a bus ride, and people keep getting on and off, and we haven't been thrown off the bus yet.

Tuesday: no sun yet, but light has arrived. We have a plan for today that includes running Kristen's car through a car wash, a stop at Sam's for a rotisserie chicken, a slab of salmon, and something Linda needs in the pharmacy area. Usually I looked at the sushi and bought something, but I like it with lots of soy sauce, which is salt, and I'm determined to avoid another trip to the hospital because of my salt and water intake causing my right leg to swell up and the skin burst open again. Jiminy. Shake on potassium NoSalt, and make a mug of hot & black last all morning. Brewed it extra strong so it's really nice.
That's not a complaint. It's a wakeup call. No grits because of the water content. No ham because of the salt. One mug of coffee and sip on it all morning.
Tuesday arrives, Shehecheyanu. Life is Good and Time is all we have. One must look after it.
