Puff the Magic Weed

Puff

No pot smoker, I'm not against those who smoke, or their smoking. Outlawing marijuana when alcohol and tobacco are legally controlled revenue producers is as self-righteously absurd as Prohibition was, one of the stupidest things we do in government’s drive to control everything everybody does, wasting tax dollars, lives, money, resources, court time, and jail cells on nonsense. The U.S. Attorney General is right in his recent decision and announcement not to enforce some Federal laws that conflict with state laws on recreational marijuana. Already as a feature of our administrative government replacing elected government, Federal government usurps innumerable powers the Founding Fathers left to the states.

Admittedly, it's surprising to see loosening come in a Democrat administration, because “less Federal government” used to be something Republicans supported until the XnRt raised its ugly head,

usurped the GOP, and crawled out into the political mainstream so that now, as well as all government, some people arrogantly waving the flag of a "moral majority" want to control everything done by everybody whose views differ from their own. Somehow, political roles reverse as the Land of the Free goes the way of Atlantis.

These pathetic beings standing against the US Attorney General are not indignant with the AG because their red herring of pot's harmfulness, which is the business of the people not of the police; they are outraged that they may be dragged away from years of gorging at the public trough, and of bullying people as all government always loves and empowers itself to bully. In the past year or so, as states in the Pacific Northwest legalized some use of marijuana, these -- brave warriors -- conducted raids seizing and burning legal assets in those states, the most flagrant example yet of developing police state.

No, Bubba is not going off the deep end, he fears and detests government. All government always all bad all ways.

Four legs good, two legs bad gives way to four legs good, two legs better as pigs walk.

And some blog posts never see the light of day. We'll see whether this one does.
