Papa = Worry

Writing this morning, First Day of the Week, it would be difficult to imagine, impossible to describe, my contentment just now. Been out to check: all cars are in their places, family well and safe. Boys? MI, NC, FL. All my girls, half a dozen. Caroline turns nine Friday. Kristen turned nineteen Friday, leaves for college Tuesday after a month long winter break, Christmas Vacation. Traveling mercies, Lord.
Epiphany Two, Year B. This morning in adult Sunday School at HNEC we will look for epiphanies in the lectionary readings and continue exploring the Apocrypha. Afternoon, funeral then a house blessing. For a priest, Monday is the Day of Rest.

Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light
of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word
and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's
glory, that he may be known, worshiped, and obeyed to the
ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with
you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and
for ever. Amen.
Tuesday Morning Bible Seminar begins day after tomorrow, new term. Gather in my office conference room Through the Garage for coffee, fellowship and those crunchy dunking things ? between 9:45 and 10:00 a.m., convene class with gathering prayer at 10:05, adjourn 11:15. All are invited and welcome. Do kindly let me know if you are coming twellerpc@gmail.com
My prayer. Traveling mercies, Lord. For quiet confidence. To be still and know that thou art God. To be as happy next Sunday morning as just now.
