and there was evening and morning

FSU Seminoles may be at the bottom of my list of favorites, but they’re misplaced at #2, Fisher is carrying on high tradition and his team should be rated #1 this evening if only because it’s farther to watch them fall, but they won't. Miss State can stuff it and what the aitch is Georgia doing hanging at 17 after that loss to UF still not ranked in the top 25. Well, the Gators did get one vote.

Sunset this evening at the Twilight Zone of Bliss the second best we have seen here. Linda put a couple of Publix 2 for 1 pizzas in the oven, extra thin crust I like, two glasses of Australian shiraz in a box, and the picture is complete looking out to a ship’s lights on the Gulf horizon. If nothing but nothing makes me long for the Good Old Days of Going Down to the Sea in Ships, the best part of the Navy was still wardroom life. Would I go back? To 22 and 35 maybe, but not to Sea. No, not even back to 22 or 35. To 17 or 42 but 79 is too good to miss so I'm staying here.

Election Day. Bad, bad feelings about those whose view is hatred and against instead of for the nation. I voted early. For whom? It’s secret ballot, Bub, and I sure as aitch didn’t vote for the Bozo you’re supporting. Not saying, b.c. these days one can go to prison for spouting freedom of speech. Harry Golden would be appalled that Only in America is only in your dreams.

Staying overnights here at GulfCrest has been and continues a gift of sanity, and Regions Bank and Commander Realty have been and continue helpful to the point we may be able to claim our new condo home two months earlier than expected.

Writing on Monday evening, what will morning bring? Tuesday Bible Seminar the Gospel according to Mark. Everyone invited, all welcome, join us, ten o’clock a.m. you’ll be glad of it. Come early for coffee and world's warmest fellowship.
