The Molechists

One of now more than eight decades, I don’t think we Americans are stupid. Well, as a nation, yes, and also oblivious - - oblivious, blind, ignorant, obtuse. Not as individuals; in my observation most of us seem sensible, sensitive, kind, thoughtful, not open to the thoughts and ideas of anyone with who does not agree with us, but otherwise generally of positive character on a personal level; and we do not see, perceive, understand, realize ourselves, our society and culture as evil foundationally and to the core.

I have been to countries where America was still admired and Americans welcomed because of how we were early perceived and what we have done, did, for the world especially as a new and upcoming nation in such as overturning the Axis Powers during WW2 and nation feeding, recovery and rebuilding afterward. Gone - - not everywhere, but those admirations and welcomes are largely gone anymore, and we have done that to ourselves, Lederer's The Ugly American and that - -  while the old original civilizations that were long centuries before and ahead of us, England, France, Spain, Italy, others - - I leave Germany out of this my thought because the third reich lives on there in hearts and minds, crouches waiting not sleeping - - see us as barbarians, I have heard the word more than once. Barbarians. And I One as well. I, We. Foundational. Foundationally. Barbarians.

Anu Garg’s word this morning is “molochize.” Most of us — no, I’ll say many - - no, some, some of us know Moloch or Molech, the Canaanite god to whom children were sacrificed. Stuns the mind, turns the stomach, the idea seems unthinkable, unspeakable; and yet America, Americans have and do molochize our children to our barbarian view of our rights, institutionalized by our Founding Fathers for other reasons altogether, but promoted and perpetuated by the most evil greedy among us to the selfish, blind and ignorant as unchallengeable. We are a nation in moral free fall. Who has ears and eyes, see and hear.

Plenty, sufficient, and if necessary draconian, measures could be taken to stop our sacrificing American school children, people’s children, toddlers to adolescents, our innocent children, to our evil god. To molochize is to molochize. Let the reader understand.

How can we a nation of a hundred percent immigrants who once understood ourselves as a “christian nation,” whatever doubtful that may have meant, so hate and mistrust immigrants, Muslims, foreigners, anyone who is different, but not ourselves … how can we possibly not hate, despise, detest ourselves. Molochizers. How can we be so blind, oblivious. Stupid. After yesterday, the Day of Ashes, yesterday’s yet another unspeakable atrocity, nothing will be done; again and forever, nothing will be done except the mindless proverb “our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.” Because of what we otherwise would have to give up, we molochize our nation’s children, our children. God help us, Lord have mercy. But God won’t help, Lord won’t have mercy because God has no hands but ours. Nothing will be done. Let’s all wring our hands and say that our thoughts and prayers go out to them. But them, they are us, we, you.

Mark 9:1 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they ἴδωσιν see that the kingdom of God has come with power.”

ἴδωσιν - root word ὁράω - see, look upon, experience, perceive, discern, beware - - realize, understand.

The Name of Christ is not "I believe ..." but Love & Sacrifice. And we do not love American children, America's children, our children, enough to sacrifice for them. We care so little about whether they live or die.
