shall not pass

While Florida Blue and the Rehab Center tough it out under the irresistible force meets immovable object syndrome, Malinda is frustratingly still in her room 450 (Main Tower, Elevator C), Sacred Heart Pensacola ready to be discharged to rehab but not to home. Ray has been patiently, competently and most lovingly there in Pensacola trying to get things moving. This morning I will go to the Rehab Center to see if private pay can be worked out instead of insurance.

Meantime, Linda and I are fortunate to be here at 7H because ... had we not been here, the Samsung refrigerator we bought new upon moving here in January 2015 stopped working properly and would have overflowed, ruined our floors, and possibly leaked into the condo apartment below us. As it is, the repair folks came out, diagnosed the problem, and estimated repairs at $500 after required parts were ordered and arrived, presumably from South Korea? With now three unsatisfactory Samsung major appliance experiences behind us, we elected to go down to the store and buy a new LG refrigerator instead of pouring good money after bad! Never another Samsung product under our roof!!! I put exclamation points, which I seldom use because they are a tool of fools, to indicate that a recalcitrant refrigerator is relatively so minor a "problem" in life as to be laughable, and The Adversary can go to hell, he "shall not pass," as Gandalf shouts, confronting and blocking the pursuing Balrog (LOTR, "The Fellowship of the Ring"), go back to the shadow, you shall not pass.

"Meantime" continues full force with three things to face today: M's FlaBlue issue, delivery of the replacement refrigerator, and plumbers coming to M's house to repair a faulty bathroom sink. Not to mention possibly returning to Pensacola if necessary, over, overnight and back. But do you get me, Adversary? You can go to Hell, you shall not pass, my daughter is alive.

Right Shoe First & Praise the Lord,
and let all the people say . . . Amen!!!

Beautifully here at 7H, a parade of bright planets strung out across heaven, and now the moon rising.

Palafox & Garden, Pensacola. Can you "date" it at least to the extent of "not earlier than"? Hint: behind the left-most palm tree is a 1937 Chevrolet.
