Five O'clock in the Morning

At church last Sunday a friend told Linda that she could tell Tom is getting better because the +Time postings are getting later and later. That is surely true. As Ordinary Time came to an end for me, sleep would not return after the rude wee hours bladder wakening, so staying up to enjoy a bit more Time was treasured, and writing during that Time was helpful. In my +Time it’s easier to go back to sleep even if the dreams are odd. Besides, Dr. Oz says less than seven hours sleep is unhealthy.
Monday we took delivery of a new car, a sedan. Tuesday my mother had her first ride to her doctor in it and it was infinitely easier getting her in and out than with Linda’s car. This is a Buick Regal, a four-cylinder midsize car that GM manufactures in Germany. The car is magic: the Bluetooth system works as well with my cell phone for hands-free calling as does the OnStar. The OnStar is nevertheless an absolute requirement because of the emergency notification feature and the remote unlock feature. Our last four-cylinder Buick was exactly thirty years ago, a 1981 Buick Skylark.
The red convertible still sits on the horizon. Meantime there are two red convertibles here: a Ferrari from the Smiths and a Corvette from the Godwins, selected for me by Miles, my fellow Gator.
Posting later this morning having gone back to sleep after the two o’clock wakening and vivid dreams until five o’clock.
Wodenstag: der Mittwoch.
