Thursday Thunder
Clap of thunder, what a great way to start a day. Lightning, thunder and downstairs for coffee. Out on the front porch as hard rain finishes and the scattered tstorm passes on leaving only fading thunder. Sound of a boat on the Bay, shrimping?

Grant to us, Lord, we pray, the spirit to think and do always
those things that are right, that we, who cannot exist without
you, may by you be enabled to live according to your will;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Can’t hear thunder at all now. Trees are dripping and a dove cooing. Traffic sounds two blocks away as cars slow on Frankford, turn and head east on West Beach Drive. The sky is dark blue now instead of black. A beautiful day.
Silhouette of trees, lighter blue sky. Bit of distant thunder again. Day comes fast.
