Harvey, and now Irma plowing across the Atlantic ominously promising to become a category 4 hurricane. Especially because we have solid commitments for the first half and more of September, we’ll monitor Irma, but at the moment only one of the dozen or so forecast track lines comes our way into the Gulf of Mexico, all the others have Irma curving down then swinging round and heading north in the Atlantic, an active hurricane season, too active for comfort or letting down our guard.
Friday: walk then breakfast, right now flashing lightning and sharp thunder to the south of 7H and over the Gulf. We don’t walk in storm, or anymore just rain though I used to enjoy bundling up to keep dry and walking in the rain if no electrics. Nowadays when rain happens my cardio consists of running down and walking or running back up several flights of stairs, easy because the stairwell door is just across the sidewalk from 7H door. Nineteen steps per floor (level). Yesterday though, I noticed the return of my sharp right knee, which had not struck for the two and a half years since we moved out of the house.
