Saturday: RSF&PTL

Nine-fifty-four Saturday morning, we've already been to Farmers Market in Oaks by the Bay Park next door, and it's Time for a morning nap. But first ...

The farmer or market gardener from Marianna had crookneck squash again, so we bought a $5 basket of tiny ones and will grill four for dinner, which when we're organized and home alone comes at two o'clock in the afternoon.

Unlike last Saturday's severe thunderstorms, today is cloudlessly beautiful and clear. The sky is light blue to white, which is surprising considering that the humidity is so low for here, 43%. Temp 86° wind NE 5 mph. Really nice out, and I was out on 7H porch by 5:30 this morning, but now back inside with the air conditioning. Checking conditions elsewhere in USA and on Earth, why do I feel like a guilty entitled one as a white American male? No matter.

Or, DOES it matter?

Gut Shabbos, peace and tranquility today, church tomorrow morning; except that instead of a Sunday morning adventure to a new church as we did the last two Sundays, our POD for June 9 is to watch the "televised" 10:30 service at Holy Nativity Episcopal, which has been our home parish since 1955. Then next Sunday, 16 June we're to return for me to serve as Supply Priest there before I restart my desert Time of Forty Days in the Wilderness.
