Veterans Day

In all the years, we've never seen sansevieria bloom until now.

And the tall stem of tiny flowers is so sweet that their aroma, much like honeysuckle,

tints the room with its fragrance. We need a flock of hovering hummingbirds or a swarm of busy honeybees.

This morning's sunset was splendid notwithstanding the clear sky with hardly a cloud in sight.

It may seem a shame that the scaffolding hogs the foreground, but it makes for an interesting outlook and I'll miss it when it's gone. The photo above is the Magnolia Beach and BayPoint skyline from 7H, with the moon shining on the bay, and yes, that's the moon, not Venus or a star through a scaffolding crack in the upper right.

Armistice Day become Veterans Day, and I'm one, are you? Unlike for other wars, we were not celebrated and welcomed home from the Vietnam War, but it's only alphabet morons who blame the military for the foreign policies pursued by the WH officials they've elected. But then we don't remember and learn a thing from our past, do we.

Clear blue sky, flat blue Bay: looks like it's going to be a beautiful Monday. TGIM.
